1. Abnormal sparks often appear when cutting thin carbon steel
When laser cutting thin carbon steel, normally the flames are long and flat, with fewer split ends, and abnormal sparks will affect the smoothness and processing quality of the workpiece's cutting surface. If other parameters are normal, the following possibilities should be considered:
a. The nozzle of the laser cutting head is seriously worn out, and the nozzle should be replaced in time;
b. In the absence of replacement of new nozzles, increase the auxiliary gas pressure;
c. If the thread at the connection between the nozzle and the laser cutting head is loose, laser cutting should be suspended immediately and the connection status of the laser cutting head should be checked.
2. Incomplete cutting
a. The choice of laser nozzle does not match the thickness of the processed sheet;
b. The laser cutting line speed is too fast, and the line speed needs to be reduced.
